THE STORY OF STAINED EDITION
I’m Gabriella, the artist and founder of Stained Edition, a mobile stained glass studio dedicated to keeping this timeless craft alive in a fresh, modern way.
My love for stained glass began when I was young, watching my grandmother work in the most unexpected studio — an old delivery truck she transformed into her creative space. She learned stained glass later in life, taking courses at the local college to master the craft. I had the honor of watching her journey from the beginning. As a child, it amazed me to see her, a woman carving out space for herself, learning something completely new, and doing it with confidence and joy.
Those afternoons in her truck-turned-studio taught me something that’s stayed with me ever since: it doesn’t matter how old you are or where you are in life — you make space for yourself, and you never stop trying to learn.
Today, I carry that same mindset into every piece I create. My work blends the traditional techniques I first saw in her hands with a modern design perspective, resulting in personal, handcrafted pieces that bring light and color into everyday spaces.
What started as a creative outlet has grown into a mobile studio that not only produces original works but also shares the process behind them — from the first sketch to the final solder. I believe stained glass is more than decoration; it’s a way to tell stories, preserve memories, and turn light into something you can hold onto.
Whether I’m at a market, collaborating on a custom design, or guiding someone through their first cut of glass, my goal is to create work that connects — pieces that carry history, artistry, and heart.
This is my stained glass chapter, and I’d be honored for you to be part of it.
